CHOSNG : Swim in you
This song by CHOSNG is perfect for indie pop and folk listeners. “Swim in you” is a simple and direct single that is a great introduction to her music. If you start exploring you will hear a bigger variety of genres.

Arttichoke : F**k it,Leave it,Kiss me
Arttichoke debuted in 2020 but I never heard any of her music until “F**k it,Leave it,Kiss me.” It’s one of the biggest surprises I’ve had because the song’s tone is an electronic and pop hybrid that adds elements of bedroom electropop, 80s pop, and some city pop. It’s weird but very addictive.

eundohee : Gravity
I’ve been an eundohee fan since Unforeseen. She has a new album releasing in October. I’ve had the opportunity to listen to it and “Gravity” is only a hint of how good it is.

Conut : Root It Out
Conut‘s been around a long time and I only found out about her when she already had multiple releases. I didn’t know there was a two-year gap between her last release and “Root It Out.” But it’s possible that this single is a turn in a new direction.

“Green Apple” is R&B forward with a little bit of pop and rock accents. It’s a straightforward single that gets to the point quickly.

Candles : ya!
Candles remind me of 청년들. “ya!” is a great first single to show off their style.

Lubless : Paint the Night
I listened to Lubless in passing through random playlists. Listening more intently, the single offers a couple of sound profiles. “Paint the Night” is a pop single. “An eternal summer and a dreamy night” is a throw into Messgram‘s and Synsnake‘s arena. Both songs work and don’t work on varying levels.

poomba21 : Chasing
poomba21 combines blues rock with what I can only describe as Korean dialogue you hear in historical Korean dramas. That over-the-top line delivery is in song form.

Dead Chant : Hitchhiker under the moon
Dead Chant reminds me of the switch when Blink-182 brought back Tom and Matt Skiba was left aside. The music sounds like Dead Chant but there’s a different energy.

sideline : Dream Wish
Mellow indie rock with drops of shoegaze. That’s “Dream Wish” by sideline.
