Yoon Jieun : I live to love you (Piano. LIM EUNJI)
“I live to love you” isn’t a music style I frequent often. It’s a mix of jazz, pop, and ballad and enjoyable. Yoon Jieun‘s vocals push the song and Lim Eunji‘s piano is excellent.

RealFrog : Dancing With The Pig
A female-fronted rock band playing a 2000s rock style. RealFrog sounds like an old band, but I think with all the recent trends following, something nostalgic is a good cleanser.

Adios Audio : Hulow
Adios Audio has cemented its sound and style into something instantly recognizable. I applaud the band for consistency and “Hulow” is another strong addition to their discography.

YURA : i2i
It’s interesting when an artist’s old music is removed from streaming. YURA‘s EP Scrapbook isn’t available anymore. But I imagine there’s a good reason. She’s been consistently releasing music since her 2019 debut and it also sounds like there’s been growth and learning. I need to listen to Eternal Tiare.

Shin Yun Su : Seesaw
Another formulaic indie acoustic track that is enjoyable. While there are no surprises, Shin Yun Su provides an excellent introduction to people who don’t know them.

Savina & Drones : A deaf life
When I saw that Savina & Drones was returning with a new album, I got excited. While extended releases don’t come often, I really enjoy every album that Savina & Drones releases. “A deaf life” hints at something amazing.

Lazybone : Wonderland
Lazybone are forefathers of Korean ska punk. With releases starting as far back as 2002, they might not be as well known as Crying Nut and No Brain but are an important part of Korean music history. “Wonderland” shows they haven’t lost their touch.
