Reminded me of a dreamier Mew, the vocals in particular are a good match for that Danish act and in particular from their album ‘Frengers’. All adds up to something entirely dreamy from Philly act Brooke Falls but with the requisite rocking dimension to add the necessary grit. But the main effect of ‘Girl in Red’s presence is of being in love, the romantic ideal in full bloom and this song being the perfect encapsulation of what it means to have two full hearts working completely in tandem.
