There’s a whole lot of sadness in ‘Brother’, the backstory of a stillborn baby means we are taken even more to Roos’ words and impacted by a piece of music to a greater extent that we thought possible. As for the tragic circumstance this track beautifully captures the intensity of love, albeit one that can’t have a happy ever after. Stopped me in my tracks, this is at once heartbreaking and spellbinding from a Dutch artist who deserves to have it all. KH
