Oh he is a slow mover for sure, the kind that could knock out a love song that could become the waltz of choices for young couples the world over. Actually for lovers of every age going by the mature reflections and varnished mannerisms of ‘Foreign Fixtures’ which does show us Canadian Andrew Shier and what is capable with the rudimentary tools of the trade if you have the imagination to go with it. I could listen to it all day in fact, a turn of intonation that tells us of a bright imagination even in this quietened mosaic that he has created here. Glorious. KH
